Our Christmas menu launches on the 28th of November, bringing you the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends, family, and colleagues. From hearty traditional dishes to festive specials, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Book your table early and make this Christmas one to remember.
Christmas Pub Walk
Saturday 13th December
Join us on Saturday 13th December for our festive Christmas Pub Walk! We will meet at the pub from 10:30am for hot drinks and complimentary breakfast sandwiches before setting off at 11am. Christmas jumpers (and festive outfits for the dogs) are very much encouraged! The walk lasts around an hour and a half, finishing back at the pub for well-earned refreshments.
Christmas Quiz
Sunday 14th December
Ready...set...quiz!
Get your thinking caps on for The Swan Christmas Quiz! Join us on Saturday 14th of December for a night to get you in the Christmas spirit. The quiz will start at approximately 8pm, after Sunday food service. There will be 10 rounds of 5 questions (possible bonus round). Teams no bigger than 6. If you are wanting to eat, we recommend booking for 6pm.
Christmas Carols and Jumper Competition
Wednesday 17th December
Our local Church Choir are joining us for Christmas Carols night. Where they will be getting us into the Christmas spirit by singing some of our favourite Christmas carols from 7pm. We also have our Christmas Jumper Competition with prizes for the best (and the worst) so throw on a jumper and come along!
Festive Acoustic Music
Friday 19th December
To celebrate the last Friday before Christmas, we thought it would be a great opportunity for you all to throw on your Christmas jumpers, get dressed up and from 6:30pm enjoy some live music from Jack Gray!
Whether it be for drinks or a nice festive meal, this is something everyone can enjoy!
Christmas Market
Saturday 20th December
Back by popular demand! Our Christmas Market will be open between 10am - 2pm, in the paddock across from the pub. As the winter weather is creeping in, the market will be held in a marquee! From 10:30am - 1pm, brunch will be available inside the pub, with out December menu available from midday.
New Year's Eve
Wednesday 31st December ~ Evening ticketed event £110pp
Still got no plans for New Year's Eve?
Lunchtime service will be running as normal from 12pm-3pm, we will stop food service in the afternoon while we gear up for the evening, but don't worry we will still be open for drinks all the way through!
We will be welcoming in the New Year in Swan Style. New Year at The Swan is set to go off with a bang! With a fun-filled night, consisting of welcome drinks and canapes on arrival, followed by a 6-course menu. All supported by live entertainment from 'The Band of Covers.'
And to top it all off, we have got three taxis running from Midnight until 2:30am!
